| | //"I got a hint from a friend confirming the old Colonial architecture at the end of stadium should be the Kajang Recreation Club established in 1895. It was used as RTM store for the past decades. In the Selangor Journal published in 1890s, the British planters and Colonial officials set up the Club and hence the road leading from town to the open field and the Club was named Club Road (Jalan Kelab now). This historical building should be preserved and restored. Isn't it good if the building were to be restored and be converted into public place such as gallery or heritage centre."// (Lee Kim Sin, 11 April 2017: {{ :facebook:facebook_-_lee_kim_sin_-_bangunan_rtm.pdf ||}}[[https://www.facebook.com/leekimsin/posts/10208365277952412|"Kajang Recreation Club established in 1895"]]). |

| Demonstrasi Anti-Konfrontasi Indonesia di padang Kajang. Mungkin warga lama boleh mengenalpasti lokasi tepat, berdasarkan bangunan di latarnya: //"The large attendances at anti-Soekarno rallies throughout the Malaysian region were clear manifestation of the loyalty of the people to fight back against Indonesian confrontation, Tun Abdul Razak, the Deputy Prime Minister, said here today. 'This loyalty of the people is vivid from the spontaneous rallies being held from Sabah right up to Kuala Trengganu,' he told a cheering crowd of more than 10,000 at the Town Padang. At the end of the anti-Soekarno rally, an effigy of Soekarno, tightly clenched by the symbolic arm of Communism, was burnt as slogans denouncing the Indonesian President rang through the padang. Tun Razak was repeatedly cheered as he reiterated that the Alliance Government was determined to take any steps to defend Malaysia's territorial integrity. He said: 'I am deeply touched by your sense of patriotism. This shows you support us in whatever action we are taking to protect the security of Malaysia. 'It has always been our aim to be friendly with our neighbours just as it has been our aim to give our citizens a high standard of living, especially in the rural areas.' Tun Razak then spoke of the efforts taken by Malaysia to be on the best of terms with her neighbours, particularly Indonesia. He referred to the Friendship Treaty with Indonesia, the arrangement between the two countries on unifying the Malay or Indonesian language, the Summit meeting between Tengku Abdul Rahman and President Soekarno at Tokyo and two similar meetings at Manila. Tun Razak said that each time it was President Soekarno who broke the agreements. 'We have gone a long way to maintain friendship with Indonesia,' he added. Tun Razak said that there had been a change in the Philippine attitude towards Malaysia because there was democracy in the Philippines where the Press and the public were contantly agitating the Government to recognise Malaysia. But there was no democracy in any form in Indonesia and the people there were ignorant of the aims of Malaysia. If there was democracy in Indonesia, he had no doubt that the people there would agitate for the restoration of normal relations between Malaysia and Indonesia. Tun Razak said it was clear that D.N. Aidit, chairman of the Indonesian Communist Party, had a big hand in formulating Indonesian policies. Mr. Tan Siew Sin, the Minister of Finance, said that as Indonesia was deteriorating day by day it would not be long before there would be revolt. Indonesia's confrontation policy, especially the economic confrontation, would ruin that country, he added."// | Demonstrasi Anti-Konfrontasi Indonesia di padang Kajang.
